Born and raised in Los Angeles, Matthew (Matt) Fairlee is a New York City-based actor, singer and dancer who has appeared in professional theatrical productions from coast to coast.
Matt made his Off-Broadway debut in February 2018 as Dromio of Syracuse in THE BOYS FROM SYRACUSE at the Lion Theatre on NYC's Theatre Row, earning rave reviews and performing alongside his twin brother Ian in their first professional production together. Previously, Matt performed at WINTERFEST 2017 at Carowinds (RWS Entertainment), and the Spring 2017 national tour of JUNIE B'S ESSENTIAL SURVIVAL GUIDE TO SCHOOL (Theatreworks USA).
Matt also starred in the regional premiere of MY VAUDEVILLE MAN at The Millbrook Playhouse. Additionally, you may have seen him on TV (Cougartown) and in promotional spots (Cinépolis USA). He is an Equity Membership Candidate (EMC) for the Actors' Equity Association (AEA); he is SAG-AFTRA eligible, and he is a proud 2016 graduate of the BFA Musical Theatre program at Rider University in New Jersey,
An accomplished pianist, Matt has also been an assistant music director and pit musician for live theatrical productions, as well as a strolling entertainer at the world-famous Universal Studios Hollywood theme park.
In addition to his BFA, Matt also holds a BA in Arts Administration from Rider. Previously, he interned in the Beverly Hills offices of a major film studio, he worked on the Times Square promotions team for the hit Off-Broadway play SHEAR MADNESS, and in customer relations for the audience services company TodayTix. He also is a member of the Monologue Concierge team for author and college audition coach Mary Anna Dennard.
When he isn't performing, Matt enjoys iced coffee, dogs and creative people.
